This coming Sunday is PENTECOST! If you feel moved by the Spirit to wear RED, please do!

Our beloved Kay Whitefield died on Sunday June 2nd  and her service will be on Friday June 21st at 1:30pm, Reception to follow.

Robert Mercer, a former St. Mary’s parishioner has died Wednesday June 5. Robert, with his wife Penny, moved away to be closer to family two years ago. Their daughter Caroline emailed to give us the news. There is a copy of the full email, with Penny’s contact info, posted in the Hall by Selinde’s office. Please keep Robert’s family in your prayers. The service will be held in Elmira, Ontario.

When making a donation to the church for a specific purpose, it would greatly help the Counters if you would use your envelope and write on the front to which fund you would like the money to go.Thank you!!

The Roster Board outside Selinde’s office needs some attention!  Please fill out whenever you can.  Many thanks.

Our Parish Directory is being updated this summer. If you are new to the Parish and would like your picture and contact information to be in the directory here are the options. Phyllis Thompson is willing to take photos (at no cost to you) after church services on either June 23 or June 30. Please contact her directly to book either day. Important update on the Memorial Garden: The old Memorial Board has been taken down and will be replaced in the next month.Fred Henton is creating a new memorial board on which the plaques will be replaced in alphabetical order with spaces for family members who have prepaid plots for future use. Anyone wishing to pre-pay for a plot, which would then give them a space in the alphabetical order on the memorial board, should contact KAT in the office.  After this initial placement of plaques and spaces, plaques for future interments will be placed on the board in chronological order rather than with family members.

Legacy of Love – a practical way of helping your loved ones prepare your memorial service. After recently helping several families prepare the service for the deceased, it has become clear to Selinde that with a little work filling out the Legacy of Love, you contribute to helping your loved ones know they are creating a service that reflects and honours your wishes and values. So please consider taking a package home with you this Sunday, filling it out, and returning it to the office where we will keep it until such time as it will be needed. Thank you!!

NO MORE CHOIR PRACTICE until fall on HUB Wednesdays in June or over the summer, but everyone is invited to join us at 9:30 each Sunday.

A thank you to all of us from Tumaini;Dear Parishioners of St. Mary’s Church, Thank you so much for the generous donation to Tumaini Fund Canada from your Birthday Box. This is enough money to support 5 children for one year. Blessings to you all,Tumaini Fund Canada
