From the Rector's Desk:

As some of you may know, Susan Lockhart has been working this spring to complete the Licenced Worship Leader course through the diocese to become one of our lay readers leading the Sunday services on days when I am not here. Now that Susan has completed the course work she is now entering the practicum portion of the course. The course practicum involves leading three supervised services outside of the regular Sunday worship. To accomplish this, Susan and I have come up with a plan and we are inviting YOU to be part of it.
On Tuesday May 20 at 9:30am, Susan will lead a short service of morning prayer before we get started with our bible study program. All are welcome to attend the service and the study.
On Thursday May 22 at 7pm - Susan will lead a service of Evening Prayer in the church. The details of the service are still being sorted out, but we are hoping for a good turnout so please do consider joining us for this event!
On Wednesday May 28th at 9:30am, Susan will lead a time of Morning Prayer prior to the Parish Council meeting at 10am. While all are welcome to attend, we are making a particular request for council to come for 9:30 if at all possible, to join in the prayer before the meeting.
Please hold Susan in your prayers as she finalizes this next step in the process to support our community of faith in a very important way.
Peace,
Kirsten +
