We are celebrating Thanksgiving this coming Sunday! Bring your friends and family. Below is a Thanksgiving letter from your priest for you to read.

The Blessing of the Animals last Sunday afternoon (see photo) was intimate and lovely. Thank you to everyone who made it possible – Maria and David, Anne Bailey for the delicious treats, Marg for the seasonal dog scarves, Margaret for her leading of the singing, Onnig who took fabulous photos, and Val who helped with set up and take down. Onnig has graciously offered to provide a print to each person who attended, so on Sunday or by email, please let him which photo you would like a print of (by donation).

This Saturday, the church will be decorated for Thanksgiving from 10:00am to noon. Only one person has so far committed to coming to help out. If you can spare even half an hour, Dagny would appreciate your help.

Check out the new October Diocesan Post, as our very own Rector and her favourite kitty 'Peekaboo' are on the front cover highlighting the Pet Memorial pilot project.

NEW!  Pins and Needles Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, needlework, etc. or have a pile of mending waiting for you at home?  If you would be interested in an opportunity to meet weekly for 2 hours on a Thursday afternoon with other like-minded folks to chat, share ideas and expertise while you work on your project, please speak with Deana Thomson after church or call her.

Needed: Someone to take over the Card Ministry (sending out cards on behalf of the parish) while Arlene is south for 6 months starting mid-December. Arlene will happily train you. Please speak to her.

We need a Kitchen Coordinator to keep the kitchen organized and clean. Not to do the work per se, but to organize folks to do what is needed. Interested? Please speak to one of the wardens or Selinde. Thank you.

IMPORTANT:  For security reasons we need to change the way we label our keys.  All church keys are to be numbered from now on, and must not have the word "church" on the key.  Please take your church key to Val who will put a number on each key. This way when keys are left at church, we will know to whom they belong and if there are lost elsewhere, when anyone else picks them up, they will not know which doors/buildings they unlock. Thank you for attending to this change!

LOST AND FOUND:  We’ve accumulated quite a lot of stuff that people have left behind. Please check in the Hall on Sunday if anything is yours. Thank you.
