KAT will be back on Tuesday.

NEW!!   Pins and Needles: Do you enjoy knitting, crocheting, needlework, etc. or have a pile of mending waiting for you at home?  If you would be interested in an opportunity to meet weekly for 2 hours on a Thursday afternoon with other like-minded folks to chat, share ideas and expertise while you work on your project, please speak with Deana Thomson after church or call her.

CHANGE: The proceeds of our Birthday Box have until now been given to two international charities that support poor and orphaned children in Africa and the Philippines. At the September meeting, Parish Council voted to replace Precious Jewels with PWRDF (the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund, a charity we say we support but have so far not done very vigorously) as the recipient of our loose change. This will take effect immediately.

Please see the Bulletin Board in the Hall to learn more about PWRDF, which is the way the Anglican Church National responds to national and international crises and needs. Of course we encourage you to continue to support Precious Jewels if you feel moved to.

INTINCTION  Below you will find a letter to the parish from your priest about intinction, the practice of dipping the host into the wine during communion.

Name Tags  Further to the announcement on Sunday about magnetic name tags and pacemakers: one parishioner was told by her doctor simply to wear the name tag on the opposite side from where the pacemaker is, but please consult with your physician if you are concerned.
